Our Cottage & Location
Beautiful country cottage set in a rural landscape with lovely gardens, well equipped open plan kitchen/lounge with slate floors, underfloor heating & log stove , dog friendly. Lovely large sun terrace at the front of the cottage for relaxing with a glass of wine or alfresco dining. Good walking trails nearby & 5 mins drive to both the Tweed & Teviot for fishing, Kelso town is a 5 mile drive away with many places to visit, Kelso abbey, Floors castle & gardens & plenty of shops, bars & bistro’s

The Scottish Borders are quietly beautiful, steeped in history with many ruined castles and houses to visit, or hop on the train at Tweedbank and visit Edinburgh. If you love country sports, shooting, golfing, fishing or just want to kayak down the Teviot, it’s the place for you. Cycling is very popular here, with the tour of Britain regularly holding stages through the Borders and if you like to get in the saddle there’s plenty of bridal paths to choose. Little border towns & villages filled with cosy pubs & coffee shops with a distinctly laidback feel. Sunlawshill cottage is situated halfway between Kelso and Jedburgh an ideal location to visit All the attractions of the Borders.
